By taking this assessment, you've taken the first step towards understanding and enhancing your baby's early sensory development. Below, you'll find detailed feedback on your child's development, milestones, playtime activities, and sensory stimulation. Dive in to uncover valuable insights that will help you nurture your tiny tot's growth and well-being.
Your child is progressing well in terms of development. To further enhance their skills, try incorporating more interactive games and activities into their daily routine.
At this stage, between the ages 6-9 months, you will notice that your baby is more independent, as she continues to develop balance, crawling on her belly, on her hands-and-knees, develops communication skills, and a better understanding of her surroundings.
This is the first time that your baby can do certain things without completely depending on you. She isn’t constantly being carried, and she can make her own choices in choosing to move away or get closer to us.
Your baby is on track with their milestones, but there is room for improvement. Focus on activities that target specific skills they may be struggling with to help them progress further.
At this stage of your baby’s life, she is beginning to understand that she has the ability to reach an object that is close to her through making eye contact, reaching her hand out, and rolling over. The intentional reflexes which entered her body in the previous stage continue to ground themselves at this stage, and we must continue to accompany our baby in the next developmental stages.
At this stage, between the ages 6-9 months, you will notice that your baby is more independent, as she continues to develop balance, movement and further develops her communication skills, and a better understanding of her surroundings through the house, the people in her life etc. This is the first time that your baby experience independence and she can do certain things without completely depending on you (sorry :) ). The will to crawl comes from the will to move forward.
Crawling is the first stage in which your baby can move forward to see what the world has to offer, independently. The importance of crawling is in the learning of spatial perception, estimation, and the development of hand-eye coordination and arm-hand coordination. It also helps in strengthening the shoulders, and of course, using feet for movement.
Every baby has his own development pace, and it is important that we as parents help our babies pave their own path, and encourage them to overcome the different developmental obstacles, in order to realize the developmental potential within them.
Each stage is built on the previous one. Your baby must complete each stage in her development. Therefore it is important to continue guiding her and instilling a solid developmental base, which will lead her through to the next developmental stages.
You're doing well with providing engaging playtime activities for your baby. To enhance their experience, try incorporating more sensory-rich experiences into their play sessions.
